Dirk Bikkembergs

Dirk Bikkembergs is a Belgian fashion designer known for his modern, sport-inspired clothing and accessories. Bikkembergs studied fashion design at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp and launched his eponymous fashion label in 1989. His collections, which often incorporate bold colors and graphic prints, have been shown at fashion weeks in Paris, Milan, and New York. In addition to his work in fashion, Bikkembergs has also designed costumes for theater and dance productions. In 2006, he was awarded the title of "Designer of the Year" by the Belgian Fashion Awards.
