Dries Van Noten is a Belgian fashion designer who launched his eponymous fashion label in 1986. Known for his use of color and print, Van Noten has established himself as one of the most respected and influential designers in the fashion industry. He often incorporates vintage and ethnic elements into his collections, which have been shown at fashion weeks in Paris, London, and Milan. In addition to his work in fashion, Van Noten has also designed costumes for theater and opera productions. In 2008, he was named "Designer of the Year" by the Belgian Fashion Awards.
