Jean Paul Gaultier

Jean Paul Gaultier is a French fashion designer known for his avant-garde and sometimes provocative designs. Gaultier launched his eponymous fashion label in 1976, and his collections have been shown at fashion weeks in Paris, Milan, and New York. Gaultier's designs often incorporate elements of French culture and subculture, and are known for their playfulness and irreverence. In addition to his work in fashion, Gaultier has also designed costumes for theater and film productions, and has collaborated with other  designers and brands, such as Supreme or Y/Project. Gaultier has been recognized with several fashion awards, including the "Lifetime Achievement" award from the Council of Fashion Designers of America in 2017.
